Project aims to improve city aesthetics

Jeju City is pushing for the expansion of underground electricity lines in order to improve city aesthetics.

The plan to expand the network of the project aims to improve the urbanscape aesthetics of the city by relocating electricity lines underground.

The city placed an order for research services on the 11th due to the recent surge in requests for the underground project.

Once the business plan is established through the service, they will make a joint effort with Korea Electric Power Corporation to proceed with the underground construction.

Since 2007, Jeju City has invested 23 billion won to complete the underground project on an area spanning 15.8km.

15.8km 구간에 지중화 사업을 완료했습니다.
