COVID-19 patients confirmed in a restaurant in Aewol
13 people attended a farewell party

A total of seven patients were confirmed for COVID-19 at a restaurant in Aewol-eup, as of January 21st.

According to the province, four of the patients are employees of the restaurant, including a Chinese employee who is thought to be the source of infection. The three others are customers who visited the restaurant.

13 people attended a farewell party for the Chinese employee and six of them tested positive for the virus.

The province said that they are asking 330 people who visited the restaurant from the 14th to the 18th to receive coronavirus tests.

The provincial government is also considering accusing 13 people who attended the party.
