Land prices, apartment market forecasted to recover this year
In contrast, commercial real estate predicted to falter

Experts are predicting that the real estate market in Jeju will be both sluggish and rejuvenated this year.

Lee Sung-yong (이성용), a researcher at the Jeju Research Institute, along with Professor Yang Young-joon (양영준) of Jeju National University made the claims in a study on the prospects and implications of the real estate market in Jeju this year.

While apartments and land will be entering a positive recovery phase this year, commercial properties and officetels will continue to experience stagnation.

As for sale prices, house prices are expected to remain flat and commercial real estate is expected to fall while the prices of land are predicted to rise.
