Free admission to attractions offered for negative COVID-19 test results
Province pushes initiative to test all tourists for virus
Jeju Island is recommending all incoming visitors to be tested for COVID-19 prior to their visit and is offering incentives, such as free admission to tourist attractions, for those who submit negative test results.
The province’s initiative will offer free admission to a total of 29 tourist attractions including Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Manjanggul Cave, and the Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest.
Jeju Island recommends visitors take the diagnostic test within three days of departure. For those who do not get tested and are confirmed for the virus after arriving in Jeju, the province will enact a zero-tolerance policy and will reserve the right to demand compensation for any damages.
