Jeju’s major industries reorganized and expanded
Province budgets ￦19.85B to implement new plan

Jeju Island will push for projects to support local industries. The province plans to reorganize major industries in accordance with local demand and the national government's New Deal policy.

The clean health food industry will be modified as the clean bio-industry, while the intelligent tourism content industry will be reorganized as the smart tourism industry, and the smart grid industry will be expanded to the green energy industry.

The budget for implementing the changes is 19.85 billion won, which is an increase of 2.3 billion won from last year.

The province plans to publicize the support plan and projects for the development of regional industry and open online applications from the 22nd to the 4th of next month.

우선 청정헬스푸드산업은 청정바이오산업으로,
지능형 관광콘텐츠산업은 스마트관광산업으로 변경하고
스마트그리드산업은 그린에너지산업으로 확대 시행합니다.

지역산업 육성을 위한 예산은
지난해보다 23억 원이 늘어난 198억 5천만원이
투입될 예정입니다.

제주도는 지역주력산업육성사업 지원계획을 공고하고
오는 22일부터 다음달 4일까지 온라인을 통해 접수받을 계획입니다.
