Pets to receive COVID-19 testing and management
Temporary care will be made available for pets of confirmed patients

Jeju Island will promote diagnostic testing and protection management plans for pets owned by COVID-19 confirmed patients.

Pets of COVID-19 patients that cannot be taken care of will be placed in temporary foster care at one of 12 veterinary hospitals in the province for a fee.

Free diagnostic tests will be conducted on all animals that exhibit signs or symptoms of COVID-19.

The province is also planning to take measures for pets to receive quarantine treatment if confirmed with the virus.

제주도가 코로나19 확진자 소유의 반려동물에 대한
진단검사와 보호관리 계획을 추진합니다.

우선 반려동물을 대신 돌볼 수 있는 가족이나 지인이 없는 경우
임시 위탁 보호할 수 있도록
도내 동물병원 12개소를 지정해 유료로 운영합니다.

특히 반려동물이 코로나19 의심증상을 보일 경우
무료 진단 검사가 이뤄집니다.

또 반려동물이 코로나19에 확진되면
격리 치료를 받을 수 있도록 조치할 계획입니다.
