Jeju eases social distancing to level 1.5 from the 15th
Ban on 5+ gatherings remains in effect

Jeju Island has implemented social distancing level 1.5 starting from the 15th in accordance with the central government's decision to ease social distancing measures.

As a result, restaurants, cafes, karaoke rooms, and indoor sports facilities will be open without any restrictions on operating hours.

However, nightclubs and other entertainment facilities will only be permitted to operate until 10 p.m.

The ban on gatherings of 5 or more people will remain in effect.

Public bathhouses, which have been a hotbed for cluster infections on the island, will now be allowed to operate snack bars and cafeterias, but restrictions on sweat rooms, saunas and sleeping rooms will remain the same.

The limit on the number of people allowed at weddings and funeral halls will be adjusted to 200 and food services will be permitted.

The province is urging residents to remain vigilant in adhering to social distancing measures, as the policy can be adjusted to level 2 if the COVID-19 situation worsens.

클럽 등 유흥시설에도
밤 10시까지 영업을 조건으로 운영을 허용합니다.

다만, 정부 방침에 따라
5명 이상 모임 금지는 그대로 유지 됩니다.

목욕탕에는 발한실과 사우나, 수면실 운영 제한은 유지하되
매점과 식당 운영은 허용합니다.

결혼식과 장례식에 제한했던 인원은
200명 이내로 조정하고 음식물 제공도 가능해 집니다.

제주도는 거리두기 완화가
긴장을 풀어도 된다는 의미는 아니라며
코로나19 상황이 악화되면
언제든 2단계로 조정될 수 있다고 강조했습니다.
