Number of ‘Clean Livestock Farms’ increases each year
Jeju City aims to designate 200 sites by 2025

With the improvement of animal feeding environments, the number of farms designated as clean livestock farms is increasing every year.

According to Jeju City, the number of clean livestock farms increased from 28 farms in 2017 to 43 in 2018 and to 100 last year.

The city is encouraging farmers to participate in the initiative to help reach their goal of designating 200 clean sites by 2025.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs designates clean livestock farms through an on-site evaluation of excrement and odor management, and incentives are offered to designated facilities.

깨끗한 축산농장에 지정되는 농가가 매년 늘고 있습니다.

제주시에 따르면
지난 2017년 28개 농가였던 깨끗한 축산농장은
2018년 43개소,
지난해에는 100개소까지 늘어났습니다.

제주시는
2025년까지 2백 개소 지정을 목표로
농가 참여를 독려하고 있습니다.

농림축산식품부는
분뇨와 악취 관리 상태 등을 현장 평가해
깨끗한 축산농장을 지정하고 있으며
농가에는 시설비 등이 인센티브로 지원됩니다.
