Fire Festival to be held exclusively online
400 pre-booked vehicles allowed on-site for fire setting ceremony

Jeju Island’s renowned Fire Festival will be held next month as an online event.

Jeju City said in a briefing on the 23rd that all Fire Festival programs will be carried out exclusively online to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The food market, as well as in-person events such as trekking and busking will be completely canceled, and the climb to Saebyeol Oreum, where the festival normally takes place, will be restricted from March 8th to the 14th.

The fire-setting ceremony at Saebyeol Oreum will be broadcast live online, and 400 vehicles will be allowed on-site with pre-booking.

다음 달 8일부터 14일까지
새별오름 등반도 통제합니다.

새별오름 불놓기는
온라인을 통해 생중계하며
사전 예약된 차량 4백대에 한해
차량내에서 관람만 허용할 계힉입니다.
