Real estate transaction reporting system for local councilors pushed forward
Transactions related to councilors’ committees should be reported

For the first time in the nation, the Jeju Provincial Council is pushing for the introduction of a real estate transaction reporting system, targeting local council members.

The Provincial Councilor (김용범) Kim Yong-beom said he will revise the provincial council's code of ethics in order to prepare measures on reporting real estate speculations.

This amendment stipulates that local council members should report real estate transactions to the chairman if they own or buy property related to their standing committees and the case is referred to the special committee on ethics if any violations are suspected.

이 개정안은
지방의원이 소속 상임위원회 직무와 관련된
부동산을 보유.매수하는 경우
의장에게 신고하고
법령위반으로 의심되면 윤리특별위원회에 회부하도록 하는
내용을 담고 있습니다.
