Designs confirmed for local currency
Newly designed paper gift vouchers to be released in June

The provincial government recently held an advisory committee to confirm the designs of the Jeju Local Currency (탐나는전) ‘Tamnaneunjeon.’

The newly designed paper-type gift vouchers are scheduled to be released in June in three different types: 50,000 won, 10,000 won, and 5,000 won.

The 50,000 won note contains the image of the Great Merchant Kim Man-deok, 10,000 won note contains Gwandeokjeong and Dolhareubang and a picture of Sungsan Sunrise Peak will appear on the 5,000 won note.

Meanwhile 32,000 shops are accepting Tamnaneunjeon.


4. 지역화폐 탐나는전 '지류형 디자인' 확정

제주도가 최근
제주지역화폐 탐나는전 발행 자문위원회를 열어
지류형 디자인을 확정했습니다.

새로 디자인된 지류형 상품권은
5만원권과 1만원권, 5천원권 3가지 종류로
오는 6월부터 선보일 예정입니다.

5만원권에는 거상 김만덕,
1만원권에는 관덕정과 돌하르방,
그리고 5천원권에는 성산일출봉이 담겼습니다.

한편 탐나는전 가맹점은 현재 3만 2천여 곳으로
가입 가능한
제주도내 전체 가맹점 가운데 70%로 집계됐습니다.
