16 illegal cases of fraudulent funds uncovered
￦460M of employment retention subsidies confiscated

16 cases of fraudulent acquisition of the Employment Retention Subsidy have been uncovered and funds have been confiscated.

The province detected a total of 16 businesses that illegally received employment retention subsidies, recovering back 460 million won in subsidies, and imposed punitive levies on them.

Most of the cases include disguised employment and normal operation of businesses even after reporting temporary suspension.

A grace period for voluntarily reporting will be granted until the 23rd of next month on any illegal receipt of employment maintenance subsidies. Anyone who submits a voluntary report will be required to return illegally obtained funds and other sanctions will be waived.

고용유지 지원금 제도를 악용해 부정수급한 사례가 적발돼
환수조치됐습니다.

제주도는
고용유지 지원금을 부정수급한 16개 업체를 적발해
지원금 4억6천만원을 환수하고
지급제한 등을 조치했다고 밝혔습니다.

적발된 업체 대부분은
휴업 신고를 하고도 직원을 출근시키는가 하면
허위로 고용해 지원금을 신청했다 적발됐습니다.

제주도는 다음달 23일까지를
고용유지 지원금 부정수급 자진신고 기간으로 정하고
자진신고하면 부정수급액만 환수조치하고
제재부과금은 면제해 주기로 했습니다.
