Theme confirmed for Jeju’s April 3 Memorial Ceremony
Event titled 'Camellia flowers in full blossom'

The theme of this week's 73rd anniversary of the April 3rd Incident memorial ceremony has been confirmed under the title 'Camelia flowers in full bloom'.

The theme signifies the arrival of warm spring to Jeju through the passage of the 4.3 Special Act.

The commemoration ceremony will be hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and supervised by Jeju Island and will be held from 10 am on April 3rd at the April 3rd Peace Park. Due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations, pre-ceremony events will not be held, and the number of participants will be limited to 150.

4.3특별법 전부개정안 통과로 제주에 진정으로 따뜻한 봄이 찾아왔다는 의미가 담겼습니다.

이번 4.3 희생자 추념식은
다음달 3일 오전 10시 4.3평화공원에서
행정안전부 주최하고 제주도 주관으로 봉행됩니다.

코로나19 사회적 거리두기에 따라 식전행사는 진행되지 않으며,
참석 인원도 150명으로 제한됩니다.
