Jeju gasoline prices hit highest in the nation
Gas prices on the rise for 19 consecutive weeks

The gasoline prices in Jeju have been rising for 19 weeks in a row.

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation, the average gasoline price in Jeju hits 1,632 won per liter on April 6th, higher than the Seoul average of 1,616 won. It is the highest gasoline price in the nation.

The steep rise in prices has continued for 19 consecutive weeks since November of last year.

The Korea National Oil Corporation analyzed that international oil prices continue to go up due to expectations of U.S. economic stimulus measures and a decrease in U.S. crude oil inventories.

오늘(4일) 제주지역 평균 휘발유 가격은 1리터당 1천632원으로
서울 평균 1천615원보다 높아
전국에서 가장 비싼 것으로 나타났습니다.

이 같은 가파른 가격 상승세는
지난해 11월부터 19주 연속 이어지고 있습니다.

석유공사는
미국의 경기 부양책 기대와
미 원유 재고 감소 등의 영향으로
국제유가가 상승세를 이어가는 것으로 분석했습니다.
