Jeju City will give ￦80 per 1 kilogram of glass bottles
Soju and beer bottles are excluded from the system

Jeju City is implementing a collection compensation system of glass bottles for the first time in the nation to increase the recycling rate.

Jeju City will pay 80 won per 1kg of bottles beginning next month when designated collectors collect empty glass bottles to private companies handling glasses.

Applications are being received from islanders aged 19 and older by the 23rd.

However, soju and beer bottles, which are already being paid in compensation, are excluded from the compensation system.

제주시는
지정된 수거자가
유리재질로 돼 있는 빈 병을
민간 처리업체로 모아오면
다음 달부터 1KG 당 80원의 보상금을 지급합니다.

이를 위해
오는 23일까지
만 19세 이상 도민을 대상으로
공모 신청을 받고 있습니다.

다만
이미 빈 병 보상금을 지급하고 있는
소주병과 맥주병은 지원 대상에서 제외됩니다.
