Jeju Special Act revision draft to be released
Legislation meetings planned for the 8th, 9th, and 13th

The province is speeding up its efforts to draft a revision on the Jeju Special Act within the first half of this year.

The provincial government plans to hold three rounds of special law self-governing legislation meetings on the 8th, 9th, and 13th, where experts from will participate.

During the meeting, they will discuss issues such as transferring ownership of state-owned property, establishing a dualization model for local police, and developing the water industry in Jeju.

The province plans to prepare a draft for all revisions of the special law through task force meetings until the first half of this year.

특별법 자치행정 입법 분야 테스크포스팀 회의를 개최합니다.

이번 회의에서는
국유재산 소유권 이양을 비롯해
자치경찰 이원화 모델 정립,
지하수자원 공기업 특례 확대 같은 과제를
논의할 방침입니다.

제주도는
올해 상반기까지 분야별 테스트포스팀을 진행해
특별법 전부개정 초안을 마련할 계획입니다.
