17 Korean indigenous calves dispatched to farms
Province to increase the competitiveness of the Korean beef industry

Jeju Provincial Livestock Institute will sell 17 Korean indigenous calves with registered breed pedigrees to farmers to improve the competitiveness of the Korean beef industry.

The new calves have all passed a pedigree screening and have been tested for diseases including vaccinations and tuberculosis.

Among the 38 applicants, priority was given to farmers based on those who have received training provided by the institute.

The institute plans to sell additional calves to Korean beef farmers in the second half of the year.


6. 우수 혈통 한우 송아지 17마리 농가에 분양

제주도 축산진흥원이
한우 산업의 경쟁력 확보를 위해
혈통 등록된 한우 송아지 17마리를 농가에 분양합니다.

이번에 분양되는 한우 송아지는
혈통정보에 대한 심사를 통과하고
예방접종과 결핵 등 질병검사를 받은 개체들입니다.

분양대상 농가는
38개 신청농가 가운데 재해 발생과 축산진흥원 교육이수 여부에 따라
우선 배정됐습니다.

축산진흥원은 하반기에도 우수 송아지를 추가로 한우 농가에 분양할 예정입니다.
