Number of domestic flights to and from Jeju higher than pre-COVID times
Flights have nearly doubled compared to last year.

The number of domestic flights to and from the province has exceeded the level from before the COVID-19 outbreak as the number of tourists visiting Jeju island increases.

According to the Jeju regional headquarters of the Korea Airports Corporation, the number of domestic flights to and from Jeju reached 13,042 last month, nearly double the number of flights from the same period last year.

In particular, there were 258 more flights compared to March 2019 which was before the COVID-19 outbreak.

As the number of flights increased, the domestic supply of seats to and from Jeju also recovered to the pre-COVID 19 state, selling 2,439,000 seats last month.

지난달 제주 기점 국내선 항공기 운항 편수는
1만 3천 42편으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 2배 가까이
늘었습니다.

특히 코로나19 발생 이전인 2019년 3월과 비교해도
258편이 더 많았습니다.

항공편이 늘면서 지난 달 제주기점 국내선 공급석도
243만9천여 석으로 코로나19 이전 수준을 회복했습니다.
