More benefits to promote recycling
10 plastic garbage bags provided for 1kg of recyclables

Seogwipo City will expand the compensation system of exchanging recyclable resources into standard plastic garbage bags.

Seogwipo City Municipal Office says it will expand their compensation on Recycling Days which are the fourth Sunday of every month and environmental anniversaries starting this month.

As a result, residents can receive 10 plastic garbage bags for one kilogram of recyclables collected such as transparent plastic bottles, cans, or paper packs on the Recycling Days.

Compensation and exchanges for standard plastic garbage bags will be made at the recycling help center in Seogwipo City.



3. 재활용품 '종량제 봉투 교환' 보상 확대

서귀포시가 재활용 가능한 자원을
종량제 봉투로 바꿔주는 보상제도를
확대 시행합니다.

서귀포시는
이달부터 매월 넷째주 일요일이나
환경 관련 기념일 같은 재활용 데이에
보상을 확대한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 재활용 데이에는
투명 페트병이나 캔, 종이팩 같은
재활용품을 가져갈 경우 종량제 봉투를
1kg당 10장을 받을 수 있습니다.

종량제 봉투 보상은
서귀포시 내 재활용도움센터에서
이뤄집니다.
