Investigation on Jeju people in Japan listed in memorial stones Consolation plan to be established

Jeju Island will conduct a survey on contributors listed in memorial stone to inherit the spirit of sharing among the first generation of Jeju residents in Japan.

Among the 8,500 Japanese contributors of Jeju descent listed in the 900 memorial stones approximately 500 contributors were selected for the investigation.

The province will conduct the investigation next month, and establish a consolation plan for contributors.

나눔 정신을 계승하기 위해
공덕비 공헌자에 대한 조사를 실시합니다.

조사 대상은
재일제주인 공덕비 900여 기에 등재된
공헌자 8천 5백여 명 가운데,
공헌자가 특정된 500여 명입니다.

제주도는
다음달까지 조사를 실시하고
이를 바탕으로 사실 관계를 확인한 뒤
최종 확인된 공헌자를 대상으로
감사와 위문 계획을 수립할 예정입니다.
