Man sentenced for theft of agricultural machinery
Man in his 40s sentenced to two years and six months in prison

The Jeju District Court Judge Shim Byung-jik sentenced a 40-year-old defendant to two and a half years in prison for stealing agricultural machineries.

The thief is alleged of stealing properties at greenhouses and warehouses three times since December last year.

The judge justified his sentence saying that the defendant had a history of being punished for similar crimes in the past and that the crime was committed within three years from the time he was punished and could not come to a settlement agreement with the victims.

다른사람의 비닐하우스나 창고에 보관중이던
농기계를 훔친 혐의로 기소된
40살 이 모 피고인에게 징역 2년 6월을 선고했습니다.

심 판사는 판결문에서
비슷한 범죄로 처벌받은 전력이 여러차례 있는데다
현재 누범기간인 점,
피해자들과 합의하지 못해 이같이 선고한다고 판시했습니다.
