Province conducting crackdown on quarantine rules
Violators to be fined up to ￦3M


The province has set an intensive quarantine inspection period and will be reinforcing policies as the social distancing level has been raised to level 2 for two-weeks until June 13th.

The main areas of inspection will include mask wearing in multi-use facilities, recording entry logs, ventilation, disinfection, and restrictions at entrance.

If quarantine rules are violated, businesses and users will be fined up to 3 million won and 100,000 won respectively. They also plan to enforce bans on gathering for individual businesses that have a high risk of infection.

In addition, if the degree of violation of the quarantine rules is serious or the cause of cluster infections, the government will reserve the right to demand compensation for damages, such as quarantine costs and treatment costs for confirmed people.

제주도가 다음 달 13일까지 2주 동안
거리두기 2단계 격상에 따른
집중 방역 점검기간을 재지정하고 단속을 강화합니다.

주요 점검 사항은 다중이용시설 내 마스크 착용과
출입명부 작성, 실내 환기와 소독,
유증상자 출입 제한 이행 여부 등입니다.

방역수칙을 위반할 경우 사업자는 300만 원 이하,
이용자는 10만 원 이하의 과태료가 부과되며
감염 우려가 높은 개별 사업장에 대해서는
집합금지 처분을 내릴 계획입니다.

또 방역수칙 위반 정도가 중하고
집단감염의 원인을 제공할 경우
방역 비용과 확진자 치료비 등에 대한
구상권을 청구한다는 방침입니다.
