Jeju native appointed to Cheong Wa Dae
Jung appointed as Presidential Secretary for Women and Family Affairs


(정춘생) Jung Chun-saeng, a native of Jeju, has been appointed as Secretary to the President for Women and Family Affairs.

The new Secretary Jung, was born in Namwon-eup, Seogwipo city and obtained her master’s degree in political science from Dongguk University. She previously served as an expert member of the Democratic Party's Women and Family Affairs Department, Director of the Organization Bureau and Public Affairs.

The Blue House, Cheong Wa Dae, explained the reasoning behind the selection, saying she is an expert who pursued various policies for women and families.

청와대 여성가족비서관에 제주출신의 정춘생 씨가 임명됐습니다.

신임 정 비서관은
서귀포시 남원읍 출신으로 흥산초와 남원중, 삼성여고를 거쳐
동국대 정치학 석사 학위를 취득했으며
민주당 여성가족 전문위원과 여성국장,
더불어민주당 원내행정기획실장,
조직국장을 지냈고,
현재 공보국장을 역임중이었습니다.

청와대는 여성과 가족을 위한 다양한 정책을 추진했던 전문가라며
발탁배경을 설명했습니다.
