Jeju City offers farmers free wood chips
Applicants need to visit the Jeju City Hall

Jeju City supplies wood chips made from crushed dead pine trees to farmers free of charge.

The total quantity supplied amounts to 800 tons of wood chips produced by crushing 3,500 dead wood trees, and each person is limited to a quantity of one vehicle.

Those who wish to receive free wood chips need to apply by visiting the Jeju City Hall on the 7th and 8th, and they must prepare a transport vehicle.

Wood chips are mainly used for composting in citrus orchards.


5. 제주시, 고사목 파쇄 '우드칩' 무상 공급

제주시가 재선충병에 의해 고사된 소나무를 파쇄해 만든 우드칩을
농가에 무상 공급합니다.

공급되는 물량은 고사목 3천 500그루를 파쇄해 생산된
우드칩 800여 톤이며 개인당 차량 한대로 물량을 제한합니다.

무상 공급을 희망하는 경우
오는 7일과 8일 이틀 동안
제주시 공원녹지과를 방문해 신청하면 되며
운반 차량을 별도로 준비해야 합니다.

한편 우드칩은 감귤 과수원의 퇴비 용도로
주로 사용되고 있습니다.
