Lawmaker Kim Du-kwan meets Governor Won
Kim delivered letter asking for preemptive vaccination of islanders to Blue House

Lawmaker (김두관) Kim Du-kwan of the Democratic Party of Korea, who officially announced his candidacy for the presidential election, met with Governor Won Hee-ryong in Jeju on the afternoon of the 5th and announced his efforts to actively cooperate for preemptive COVID-19 vaccination of Jeju residents.

During the meeting, Lawmaker Kim said that if collective immunity is formed in the province, local residents and tourists visiting the province will be able to enjoy their vacations with less fear.

He emphasized that he delivered personal letters to the Blue House, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, with the proposal that 70% of Jeju residents, or about 400,000 people, should be vaccinated preemptively.
