Young workers can re-enrol the program to save money
‘Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid Program’ allows for resubscription
The requirement for re-subscribing to the (내일채움) ‘Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid Program’ have been eased. The program aims to accumulate large sums of money for the youth.
The Jeju Regional Headquarters of the SMEs and Start Ups Agency announced that the relevant regulations have been amended to allow re-enrollment among workers who have been cut off from the aid prematurely due to closure or suspension of business within one year from the period of program termination.
In particular, starting this year, with the new changes made to the system, it is possible to apply and re-enroll retroactively even if one year has passed since early termination.
The Naeil Chaeum Mutual Aid is a program in which a worker aged 34 or younger pays a total of 7.2 million won by paying 120,000 won per month for 5 years in order to receive a lump sum of 30 million won at maturity. The government and the employer will cover the remaining amount for the final lump sum amount.
