Vaccinations for those in their 50s to begin next month
Province aiming to form herd immunity by the end of September

Vaccination for people in their 50s will begin at the end of next month.

According to the national government's third quarter vaccination plan, the Province has decided to complete the primary vaccination for 402,000 people, the 70% of Jeju residents, to form herd immunity by the end of September.

In the third quarter, vaccines will be given to the elderly aged 60 to 74 and essential workers under the age of 30.

From July 19th, senior students of high school and high school staff will be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.

People in their 50s will be inoculated from July 26th, and those in their 40s will receive vaccines from August.

The type of vaccines for people in their 40s and 50s have not yet been confirmed.


2. 50대 코로나 백신 접종 내달 26일부터 시작

50대 장년층에 대한 백신 접종이 다음달 말부터 시작됩니다.

제주도는 정부의 3분기 백신 접종 계획에 따라 9월 말까지
집단면역을 형성하기 위한 70% 목표 인원인 40만 2천여 명에 대한
1차 접종을 완료하기로 했습니다.

우선 3분기에는 60살에서 74살까지 고령층과 30살 미만 사회필수 인력에 대한 접종이 실시됩니다.

다음달 19일부터는 화이자 백신으로 고등학교 3학년 전체와
고등학교 교직원 등에 대한 접종이 이뤄집니다.

50대 장년층은 다음달 26일부터 접종이 진행되며 40대는 8월부터 실시됩니다.
40~50대 중장년층이 어떤 백신을 맞게 될지는 아직 확정되지 않았습니다.
