New Administrative Vice Governor appointed
Inauguration ceremony to be held later this month

(구만섭) Koo Man-sub, the Director General for policy planning of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, has been appointed as the next Administrative Vice Governor of Jeju Island.

The Province and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security agreed to appoint Koo Man-sub as the new Administrative Vice Governor of Jeju Island.

Koo Man-sub, who was born in Chungcheongnam-do province, graduated from the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Kookmin University. He passed the public administration exam to serve as an executive officer in the presidential office and Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

Meanwhile, the inauguration ceremony for the new Vice Governor is expected to be held at the end of this month. The current Administrative Vice Governor (최승현) Choi Seung-hyun has applied for voluntary retirement.


5. 제주도 신임 행정부지사에 구만섭 기획관 내정

제주도 차기 행정부지사에 구만섭 행정안전부 정책기획관이 내정됐습니다.

제주도와 행정안전부는 협의를 통해
제주도 신임 행정부지사로 구만섭 정책기획관을 발령하기로 했습니다.

충남 서천시 출신인 구 내정자는 국민대 정치외교학과를 졸업한 뒤 행정고시에 합격해 대통령실 행정관과 행안부 창조정부기획과장 등을 지냈습니다.

한편 최승현 행정부지사가 명예퇴직을 신청함에 따라
신임 부지사 취임식은 이달 말쯤 열릴 것으로 전망됩니다.
