Police investigating on violation of Farmland Act against lawmaker Oh Young-hun
Police plan to summon Lawmaker Oh soon

The police have launched an investigation into allegations of violations of the Farmland Act against lawmaker Oh Young-hun of the Democratic Party of Korea.

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency announced that they had recently started an internal investigation after suspicions regarding illegal trade of farmland amounting to approximately 3,000 square meters in Namwon-eup were raised by the Anti-corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

They plan to directly summon representative Oh Young-hun for investigation soon. Lawmaker Oh has completely denied the allegations.

더불어민주당 오영훈 의원에 대한
농지법 위반 의혹에 대해 경찰이 수사에 나섰습니다.

제주경찰청은 최근 국민권익위가
오 의원에 대해 남원읍 3천여 제곱미터 규모의 농지에 대한
불법 거래 의혹을 제기함에 따라 내사를 시작했다고 밝혔습니다.

조만간 오영훈 의원을 직접 소환해 조사하겠다는 방침입니다.

한편, 오 의원은 해당 의혹에 대해 전면 부인한 바 있습니다.
