Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts monsoon to begin in early July
Cold airs remain in Korea until early next week

This year's rainy season is expected to start early next month.

The Korea Meteorological Administration announced its prediction at a recent press briefing that the seasonal rain front would not be able to move north as the cold air coming from the north remains in Korea until early next week at the latest.

Accordingly, the rainy season from the stationary front will start in July.

There is a rain forecast in Jeju this weekend, the forthcoming rain would be caused due to low pressures temporarily passing through the area.

정체전선에 의해 내리는 장맛비는 7월이 돼야 시작될 것이라고
설명했습니다.

이번 주말 제주에 비예보가 있지만,
이는 저기압이 일시적으로 통과하면서 내리는 비라고 덧붙였습니다.
