Governor Won Heeryong considering on details of his resignation
He chose regime change as a keyword for his challenge to presidency

Governor Won Hee-ryong, who expressed his interest to run for presidency, declined to comment on details of his resignation, saying he is still contemplating on his future political actions.

Governor Won said at a press conference marking the third anniversary of his second term held at the provincial government office on the 1st, that he will put in his full efforts into running for the presidential election.

He added that once he finalized his position, he will inform the residents of measures for a smooth transition. He added that he will not prolong his final decision.

Governor Won suggested regime change and Korea's grand innovation as keywords for challenge to the presidency, stating that there is no future with the current administration that has put young people in despair due to failure of income-led growth and soaring housing prices.

원 지사는 대권 도전에 대해서는 소득주도 성장과 집값 폭등 문제 등으로
청년을 절망으로 빠뜨린 정권을 교체하지 않고는
미래가 없다며 대권 도전의 키워드로 정권 교체와
대한민국의 대혁신을 제시했습니다.
