Government Employees’ Union in Jeju denounces personnel practices
The union requests old practices to be eliminated

The Jeju Office of the Korea Government Employees Union issued a statement pointing out flaws in personnel reshuffle. They said that employees were promoted based on power dynamics or academic ties to particular departments and stated that such practices should be eliminated once and for all.

In particular, they pointed out that the morale of public officials in the COVID-19 quarantine sector is declining after a top performing personnel of the quarantine team was excluded from promotion opportunities.

공정한 기회마저 얻지 못하고 배제돼
방역 일선 공직자들의 사기가 떨어지고 있고 있다고 지적했습니다.
