Closure of Tapdong Plaza causes balloon effects
Intensive crackdown on quarantine rule violations conducted

Crackdowns will be strengthened at Iho Beach, where a balloon effect from the closure of Tapdong Plaza in Jeju City is appearing.

Jeju City said that due to the closure of Tapdong Square, around 300 people flocked to nearby venues, including Iho Beach, where people have been drinking and eating at night.

On the 1st, right after the closing of Tapdong Plaza, 3 violations on private gatherings of 7 or more people, 14 firecracker incidents, and 6 smoking cases were caught.

Accordingly, Jeju City is planning to deploy an enforcement team until the 14th to crack down on quarantine violators during the night at local beaches.

음주나 취식을 위해 300명 가량이 몰려들면서
마스크 미착용 같은
방역수칙 위반 사례가 발생하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

실제로 탑동광장 폐쇄 직후인
지난 1일에만
7명 이상 사적 모임 3건, 폭죽 사용 14건,
흡연행위 6건 등이 적발됐습니다.

이에따라 제주시는
오는 14일까지 해수욕장 폐장 이후 시간대에 단속반을 투입해
방역수칙 위반 행위를 단속할 방침입니다.
