Social distancing level 1 maintained
Reproduction number increases to 2.41

Social distancing level one will be maintained, amidst the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Jeju.

The province said it will carefully consider raising the social distancing level if the number of infections reaches to risk levels.

In the province, the number of confirmed cases per day has been less than ten since the 10th of last month. However, infection cases of people visiting from other areas or entering the country have been confirmed consecutively.

The weekly infection reproduction number in Jeju has also increased from 0.97 to 2.41 which indicates a wide spread of the virus.

제주도가 현재 거리두기 1단계를 유지하는 한편
선택적 방역체계를 준비하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

도는 앞으로 지역 내 N차 감염을 비롯한
추가 확산세를 지켜보며 대안을 마련하고,
위험 범주를 넘어서게 되면 단계를 높인다는
신중한 입장을 드러냈습니다.

제주에선 지난 달 10일부터
하루 확진자가 한자릿수를 보여왔으며,
최근 다른 지역을 방문하거나 입도객들이
확진되는 사례가 잇따르고 있습니다.

도내 주간 감염재생산지수는
전일 유행 억제 상태인 0.97에서
유행 확산을 뜻하는 1.72로 증가했습니다.
