Provincial Councilor Ko Yong-ho criticizes lawmakers from Jeju
He asked them to be excluded from 2nd airport decision making process

(고용호) Ko Yong-ho, a member of the Provincial Council of the Democratic Party, who represents the district of Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo City, criticized lawmakers of the same party while expressing his opposition to using Jungseok Airfield as an airport.

Following the results of the strategic environmental impact assessment, council member Ko criticized the three members of the National Assembly that they did not have any interest in regards to the residents of Seongsan.

Council member Ko urged the three lawmakers to give a formal apology to residents of Seongsan and demanded that the three members be excluded from future government decisions regarding the second airport.

고 의원은 제주도의회 도민카페에서 기자회견을 열고
환경부의 전략환경영향평가 반려 결정이 나오자마자
제주도 국회의원 3명은 성산주민의 갈등과 고통을 뒤로한 채
본인들의 표를 의식한 모습을 보였다고 말했습니다.

고 의원은 제주 국회의원 3명을 향해 기존 공항 확장이나
정석비행장 활용 방안을 모색하기 전에 성산 주민에게 먼저 사과하고
앞으로 제2공항 정부 결정에 관여하지 말 것을 요구했습니다.
