Breakthrough infections continue
Most cases appear in Janssen vaccine recipients

There have been a series of breakthrough infections in the province.

According to the province, there were 16 breakthrough infections in Jeju. Of the total, nine were administered with Johnson and Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, followed by 4 with Pfizer’s and 3 with Astrazeneca’s.

Seven of the breakthrough infections were confirmed to have contracted the delta variant and three were confirmed with alpha variant.

5 patients have no variant virus detected.



3. '접종 후 감염' 돌파 감염 잇따라…'얀센' 최다

코로나19 백신 접종을 완료하고도 감염되는 돌파 감염이
잇따르고 있습니다.

제주도에 따르면,
도내 돌파 감염 사례는 모두 16건으로
백신 종류로는 얀센이 9명으로 가장 많았고
화이자 4명, 아스트라제네카 3명으로 집계됐습니다.

이들 확진자 가운데 7명은
델타 변이 바이러스에
감염된 것으로 나타났고
3명은 알파 변이로 확인됐습니다.

나머지 5명은 변이 바이러스가 검출되지 않았고
1명에 대해서는 변이 여부 검사가 진행되고 있습니다.
