Governor Won registers as presidential candidate
Won Heeryong: Making Korea better country for next generation

Jeju province Governor Won Hee-ryong visited the National Election Commission on the 5th and registered as a preliminary candidate for the 20th presidential election.

Following his registration as a presidential candidate, Governor Won announced on social media that he is running for president to make the country a better place for the next generation and added that he would make Korea an AI-innovative country.

Governor Won also said that as he knows better than anyone about the 586 generation that have become detrimental to our society, he would dismantle vested interests and inaugurate the era of fairness and innovation.

대선에 출마했다며
인공지능 혁신국가로 30년 미래 먹거리를
만들겠다고 밝혔습니다.

원 지사는
우리사회 병폐로 전락한 586 기득권에 대해
누구보다 잘 아는 만큼
기득권을 직접 해체해 온전한 나라를 만들고
대한민국 전체에 혁신의 물결이 넘실대는
공정과 혁신 시대의 문을 열겠다고 말했습니다.
