2nd supplementary budget to be organized
Pushing for support for people's livelihood

The province announced that it will organize the 2nd supplementary budget to provide public support for people's livelihood and quarantine measures in relation to COVID-19.

The 2nd supplementary budget will focus on COVID-19 response projects by using additional revenue from local grant tax and central government subsidies as revenue sources.

In particular, they plan to focus on assisting small businesses and culture, art, and tourism industries which have been stagnated due to COVID-19.

The province plans to submit the supplementary budget plan to the provincial council on the 26th after receiving the budget request and going through a practical review by the 9th.

2. 코로나 국민지원금 등 제2회 추경 편성 추진

제주도가 코로나 상생 국민지원금 지급과 방역, 민생 지원을 위해
제2회 추가경정예산을 편성한다고 밝혔습니다.

제2회 추가경정예산은
지방교부세 추가 세수와 국고보조금을 세입 재원으로
정부 추경과 연계해 코로나 대응 사업 위주로 편성됩니다.

특히 코로나로 인해 침체된 소상공인과 문화예술, 관광 분야
활력 제고에 중점을 둘 방침입니다.

제주도는 오는 9일까지 예산 요구를 받아 실무심사를 거친 후
26일부터 시작하는 도의회에 추경안을 제출할 예정입니다.
