Next year's minimum wage rises to ￦9,160
Increase of 5.05%

The minimum wage for next year is set at 9,160 won, which is an increase of 5.05 percent from this year, following the decision made by the Minimum Wage Council.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor published in the official gazette that the ministry decided to set next year’s minimum wage at 9,160 won on the 5th.

The increased minimum wage will be in effect from January 1st of next year and will apply to all businesses.

고용노동부는 5일 내년도 최저임금을 9,160원으로 확정했다는 내용의 고시를 관보에 게재했습니다.

최저임금은 내년 1월 1일부터 적용되며
업종별 구분 없이 전 사업장에 동일하게 적용됩니다.
