In response to the outbreak of African Swine Fever at a pig farm in (고성군) Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province, Jeju is strengthening preventative measures at local pig farms.

The Province plans to strengthen the quarantine management of farms, following bans on the import of pork and products from other regions since the 9th.

In particular, as African Swine Fever occurs frequently in pig farms, farms are encouraged to prohibit entry except for designated personnel and refrain contact with sows.
