Online classes will be operated in all of the middle schools in dong-administrative districts in Jeju City until the end of this week.
The Jeju Provincial Office of Education announced that 18 middle schools in Jeju City will run online classes until the 27th to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as the number of students in self-quarantine does not seem to decrease in those middle schools.
In elementary schools with more than 500 students, only first, second and third graders will attend schools and only senior students will be allowed to have offline classes everyday in high schools.
Meanwhile, the number of students and school staff who were tested positive for the virus has increased by three times from last month.
