Most schools in the province will begin the new semester within the week.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education (POE) said that all middle and high school students went back to school last week. Local elementary schools will begin opening in September.

187 schools out of 191 schools in the province will start the new semester within the week.

The POE is making efforts to prevent COVID-19 cluster infections by reducing student body intensity and enforcing quarantine manpower and equipment in schools that have a large body of students.
