With the provincial government's decision to extend social distancing level four by another two weeks, local daycare centers will be temporarily closed until September 12th and the operation of emergency childcare services will also be extended.

477 daycare centers in Jeju have been closed since August 18th to the 29th and emergency care services have been offered.

The province also plans to check in on the care and health conditions of children who do not use childcare services.
