The Jeju Provincial Police Agency has sent a gold medalist of the Asian Games to the public prosecutor's office on charges of accepting bribes and child abuse.

According to the police, the medalist committed violence while tutoring three middle school students.

In addition, the gold medalist illegally received 500,000 won in the form of lesson fees while enrolled as a full-time coach under the Jeju Provincial Sports Council.
