A suspect of the murder case of lawyer (이승용) Lee Seung-yong, which is a long-term cold case, was sent to the prosecutor’s office on charges of conspiracy related to a murder.

The Jeju Provincial Police Agency has investigated the suspect, Kim, from the 20th with a profiler after transfering the 55 year-old suspect, from Cambodia. The police said that they have secured testimonies to prove the murder.

However, the motive of the crime has been revealed, as Kim has kept silent about it.

The police said about the statute of limitation on the suspect, which is the key issue of the case, saying that Kim is subjected to the abolition of Statute of Limitation, as Kim fled the country to avoid criminal penalty.
