Seogwipo City Municipal Office will provide emergency position-indicating radio beacons (EPIRB) for sea woman divers to work safely.

Thus, Suhyup (National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives) will purchase 25 position-indicating radio beacons and distribute them to fishing villages in September.

The system will enable real-time position monitoring of the Haenyeo divers as they dive through a smartphone application.
