The local food service industry, which has been suffering from social distancing measures, is staging a relay of one-person protests for urging to ease operating hours of food and beverage businesses.

The Jeju Office of the Korea Food Service Industry Association launched a protest on the 3rd, in front of the Jeju provincial office buildings of Jeju City Hall and Seogwipo City Hall.

The office said that the industry has suffered a huge loss caused by limiting the number of people for gatherings and requested countermeasures to the local and central government. The proposal includes easing operating hours, lifting restrictions on the number of people for gatherings, and increasing the amount of compensation for restaurants and cafes.

커다란 손실을 입고 있다며

손실 보상액을 대폭 늘리고
집합 금지와 영업시간 제한 완화 등
정부와 지자체의 대책을 요구했습니다.
