The harvesting rate of carrots by machinery in Gujwa-eup is expected to be 45%.

According to the survey of seed methods of 550 farms in Gujwa-eup last month conducted by Jeju Agricultural Research & Extension Services, results show that 45% of them selected the seed method appropriate for machinery harvest.

This is a 7.6% increase compared to last year's 37.5%.

The Jeju Agricultural Research & Extension Services analyzed the effects of machinery harvesting of carrots and said that 30% labor costs can be reduced.

지난달 구좌읍 당근 포장 550곳을 대상으로
파종방식을 조사한 결과
45%가 기계수확을 위한 파종작업이 이뤄진 것으로 나타났습니다.

이는 지난해 기계 수확율이 37.5% 보다 7.6% 증가한 것입니다.

농업기술센터는 당근을 기계로 수확할 경우 약 30%의
인건비 절감 효과가 있는 것으로 분석하고 있습니다.
