Province to support forestry industry


To resolve inconveniences of forestry workers, the provincial government has undergone internal assessments seeking areas to enhance.

Improvements will be made to
the registration process of forestry companies,
standard rates of subsidies for forestry industry operators,
and revision in the standard for designation of timber production area.

The province will work together with other local government offices
to introduce a direct payment scheme for the forestry industry.
Currently, the forestry is excluded from receiving direct payments.

In addition, with the inclusion of the forestry industry,
the provincial government plans
to strengthen promotional activities.

임업인 지원 규제혁신 과제 발굴 추진


제주도가 임업 생산에 따른 불편 해소와 임업인 지원을 위해
규제혁신 내부과제를 발굴해 추진하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

발굴된 주요 과제는
임업경영체 등록 개선과 임업인단체 보조금 기준 보조율 조정,
목재생산구역 지정기준 조정 등입니다.

특히 임업분야만 포함되지 않은 공익직접직불제 도입을 위해
전국 지자체와 함께 공동 대응해 나갈 계획입니다.

제주도는 내년부터 시행되는 농민수당 지급대상에
임업분야가 포함됨에 따라 사전 홍보를 강화할 계획입니다.
