Disposed ice pack recycled


The province will be promoting a project for recycling ice packs
which are frequently used in food delivery.

The promotion of the project is followed by
a business agreement between Jeju Island
and the Korea Environment Corporation.
Thus, collection boxes are being installed at recycling centers
to collect ice ice packs.

Disposed ice packs will be cleaned by retired workers
and will then be distributed to local fisheries and
livestock cooperatives for reuse.

'아이스팩' 재사용…재활용센터에 배출

배달 음식 등에 많이 쓰이는 아이스팩을 재사용하는 사업이 추진됩니다.

이번 사업은
제주도와 한국환경공단이 체결한 업무협약에 따른 것으로
재활용도움센터에
아이스팩을 배출할 수 있도록 수거함이 설치됐습니다.

배출된 아이스팩을
일자리 사업에 참여한 노인들이 세척해 운반하면
도내 수협과 축협,
수산물가공유통협회가 재사용하게 됩니다.
